Home Based Business: Are Network Marketing Businesses A Joke?

Over the years, home based businesses have been considered by many to be a joke. I for one think that this is funny because the whole purpose of any business is to make a profit, period. That being said, does it really matter what kind of a business it is, home based or otherwise? I don’t really think it matters as long as the business is profitable.

To prove this point let me ask you something, if you had your choice between a traditional business that was barely breaking even, or a business that you could run from your home that was making $10,000 a month profit, which would you choose?

So why would someone look at both of these businesses and think that the traditional business was superior to the business being ran from someone’s home? To be honest with you, I don’t get it either, but that is the way most people think.

The other thing that people constantly say is, “90% of all home based businesses fail”. This may or may not be true, but let’s look at the facts. Statistics have shown for decades now that over 90% of all businesses fail with in the first 5 years. So the truth is that failing businesses are predominate in both sectors.

So, are home based businesses really a joke? Not if they are being ran properly they’re not!
