3 Things You Must Have To Start A Internet Marketing Business

More people are starting an Internet Marketing Business today than ever before. The global numbers I’ve seen on this are astronomical. Because of this many people try to get started online and learn as they go. There’s nothing wrong with this, in fact I started this way myself. That said, there are certain things that every online business must have in order to have any chance at success!

Internet Marketing Overview

There’s a big myth about Internet Marketing. People think that you can make money online without spending any money at all. The truth is that although starting an Internet Marketing Business can be far less expensive than starting other types of businesses, it still takes money to start and to maintain.

You must understand this before you take the leap. If you’re in a situation where you cannot spend and invest money in your business each month, even if you’re not making any, than this is not a good time for you to consider starting an Internet Business. I don’t mean to discourage anyone or sound rude, but you should be aware of this upfront.

Internet Marketing Basics

You’re going to need some sort of website to start an online business. Some people will tell you there are ways to make money online without your own website, but the fact is, you need to be able to have some control over what you’re doing and the only way to do this is through a website of your own. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a traditional website, but you should at least have a domain that’s running on an active server. This way you can setup your own Lead Pages.

You need to be able to start building a list of people who are interested in what you have to offer, so you can market your products and services to them. This can be done through your WebPages. Here are the things you’ll need to purchase at an absolute minimum, in order to start an Internet Marketing Business:

• Domain Name
• Webhost
• Autoresponder

Domain Name

A domain name can be purchased through many different companies online. Regardless of who you purchase a domain name through, you need one. You can usually purchase a domain name for less than $15 a year. So once you’ve purchased one, you won’t need to pay that money again for another year.

Webhosting

A webhost is someone you pay each month to place your domain name on a server. This is how it’s made available on the World Wide Web. Most webhosting services allow you to start with a small affordable account, and then as the size of your site increases the monthly price will go up.

There are many companies you can choose for your webhosting needs. I use HostGator to purchase my Domain Names and for my Hosting Service. Regardless of who you choose, you should be able to find an affordable hosting package for about $15=$30 per month. Just remember this is a monthly expense.

AutoResponder

Although you could purchase the software to set up your own Autoresponder, I believe it’s much easier and more effective to go through a reputable AutoResponder Service such as the one I use through Aweber or GetResponse. These services are generally available for about $15-$30 per month and as your list grows the prices will usually go up as well.

Autoresponders provide a way to capture your prospects information, communicate with them automatically through emails, and also deliver downloadable products. They are well worth the expense, and another must have for anyone serious about making money online.
