In marketing and sales there is a golden rule that must always be followed if you’re going to be successful in Network Marketing. This rule is called “The Perceived Value Rule”.

This “Perceived Value Rule” is as much a concept as it is a rule. At its basic level this is what it means: If the perceived value of something isn’t big enough to the prospect, they won’t buy!

You see it doesn’t matter how valuable you think what you’re offering is. The only thing that matters is, how valuable your prospect thinks it is.

In order to get someone to purchase something, they must view it as as being valuable enough to justify them purchasing it.

This can be done in several ways, but the easiest way to do this is to focus on the benefits it will provide your prospect during your presentation. A simple way of doing this is by telling a story about how what you’re offering has tremendously benefited you or someone you know!

It’s important to understand that from the prospect/customer’s point of view, 90% of a sale is based on your answering the question, “What’s in it for me”?

Tip:  A prospect doesn’t really care about the offer. They only care about how the offer is presented to them and the end result that they’ll obtain if they make the purchase.”

So remember, FOCUS ON THE BENEFITS!
