Importance of a Squeeze Page, Capture Page, or Landing Page!

Some People call them a, Squeeze Page, Capture Page, Landing Page, Optin Page, or Lead Generation Page. Regardless of what you call them, they are one of the most important parts of any successful Internet Marketing Business.

Landing Pages

Some call them Landing Pages because this is the primary page you want to drive traffic or visitors to. Believe it or not, people don’t usually buy something from a website the first time they visit the sales page. So it makes sense to send them to a Landing Page first.

Capture Pages

Some people call them Capture Pages because the only goal you should have for this page is to get that person to give you their email address. You want to capture this information so that you can start to create a good dialog with this person, hence the name Capture Page.

Remember they don’t know you, and they probably aren’t going to buy from you on their first visit anyway. So capturing this information will tremendously increase your opportunity to make a sale in the near future.

Squeeze Pages

Some people call them Squeeze Pages because in a sense you really are trying to squeeze the information out of your visitors. This is done by offering them what Frank Kern calls, and I love this, “An ethical bribe”.

You have to give the visitor a good reason to give you their information so the better your bribe, the better your chances are of them giving you their email address. You want to make it so that they have to respond to an email you send them, so that they can get their bribe. This will ensure that they don’t give you a bogus email address.

Optin Pages

Some people call them Optin Pages because that is all you want them to do here. This is accomplished by creating an optin form through your Autoresponder service, and posting it on the Optin Page. You will also need to set up several emails for these new subscribers and schedule them to be sent at the time you want them to. Once you set this series of emails up, you just use the same series of emails for every new subscriber on that list. It goes into autopilot at that point.

Lead Generation Pages

Some people call them Lead Generation Pages as well. Regardless of what you call them, they are the foundation to making money online. A good Lead Generation Page, followed by a good email campaign can very often double or even triple your overall sales. In some cases it will pay off even more than that. So if you want to have a successful Internet Marketing Business, you’ve got to have a Lead Page, PERIOD!
