A Review of the Free TweetGlide Twitter Application Software!

Twitter has quickly become one of the largest Social Networking platforms on the planet, and there is no shortage of Twitter applications available online. It seems like just about every day someone is launching a new Twitter app.
I’ve tried many of these applications out myself, and I’ve found some to be extremely helpful while others are simply copies of the apps already on the market. Many of the Twitter applications available are free, while others offer both a free and upgraded paid version, and still some are just available for purchase.
As Internet Marketers and/or Network Marketers we would be foolish to ignore the use of Twitter to build relationships with people we would otherwise never meet.
TweetGlide
TweetGlide is a new free Twitter application that was just made available to the general public around the 27th of October, 2009. It has a free version as well as a premium version available.
TweetGlide is one of the most powerful Social Media Tools I’ve seen, and even its free version is extremely helpful to anyone building a business or marketing products online!
What Makes TweetGlide Unique
TweetGlide gives its users the ability to put their marketing message in front of all of its users in a new unobtrusive and integrated way. It allows it’s users to put a virally exponential aspect to their marketing so that their marketing message can potentially be seen by thousands of Twitter followers all over the world.
This application allows you to see everything that any Twitter user would want to see all in one window. It gives the user complete control over what they want to view and what they don’t want to view. From this window you can easily:
- Post your own Tweets
- View peoples profiles
- View the tweets of the people you’re following
- View all direct messages
- Create direct messages
- Retweet other peoples Tweets
- Follow and Unfollow other Tweeters
- Create custom groups and Favorites
- And a whole lot more
It’s extremely user friendly, easy to download, and even provides 6 short URL services so you can easily shrink any URL you’d like to post in your Tweets.
TweetGlide Viral Marketing
TweetGlide has a Sponsored Members Stream where members can place their ads which can be earned on a point system. Points are earned by posting your own tweets as well as by tweets being made by members you have referred. This is an awesome way to get free, targeted advertising!
This allows users to get their marketing message out to others without being obtrusive or accused of spamming. If someone doesn’t want to see the sponsored ads, they simply shut that window down.
Earning Ad Credits
Users earn an ad credit for every 5 personal Tweets made in a 3 hour period. You can still Tweet more than that, you just won’t get the ad credit for anything more. At the end of a 3 hour period it resets itself to start earning your ad credits again.
When your referrals post 5 tweets in a 3 hour period, you again receive an ad credit. They provide all users with an affiliate link which you can share with others to get a huge downline of TweetGlide referred members.
Free vs. Paid Version
The paid version, which I now use, is a fantastic option for people who are serious about promoting their websites, business, or products online. At the time of this post it is currently being offered at a onetime charge of $97.
If this is too steep for your budget, or more than you really need, the free version of TweetGlide is a great option. It’s still extremely powerful and comes with all of the features you need to really ramp up a Twitter campaign.
I highly recommend at least trying out the Free version. If you don’t find it as useful as I have, then you can always just delete it.
