How To Open And Use The Free HTML Editing Software Komposer!
Today we will be discussing how to open and begin using the FREE Html Editor that I told you about yesterday called Komposer! If you haven’t already done so, you will want to go to the website I directed you to yesterday and download the Komposer software.
As I’ve said, this free software isn’t as fancy as some of the HTML Editors available, but it is very easy to use, great for beginners, and extremely cost affective, it’s FREE!
Opening the Software
Once you’ve downloaded the file that contains the software, the next step is to open it up. The Komposer Software is downloaded in a zip file format, so you will first need to unzip it. I would suggest that you unzip it to your desktop for ease of use.
If you’re not familiar with how to unzip a file, or you don’t have a zip file decompression tool on your computer, there are many free versions of these software tools available online, as well as the instructions on how to use the one you’ve chosen. Just do a Google search!
Using Komposer
Once you’ve unzipped the Komposer Software file to your desktop, you will have an icon that you can click on to open the software. You’ll notice that it has many of the same features you’d find in a standard word processing program.
There are many things that you’ll want to become familiar with to make using this HTML Editing Software easy and effective, and I could go into great detail attempting to explain some of these features to you. But I think the easiest way for you to learn this would be for you to watch some video tutorial.
