If you purchase your Domain Name from the same company you plan to host your Website on, you’ll find this task a lot easier.

I purchase all of my Domain Names and Host all of my websites through Host Gator . Although it may cost me an extra $5 to buy my Domain Name through them as opposed to someone like GoDaddy, the extra money is well worth avoiding the hassles of having the Domain Name transferred.

How To Purchase Your Domain Name

I highly suggest going to Host Gator to purchase the Domain Name you’ve chosen. Once you’ve done that, you can simply set up your Hosting Account through them, call there 24 hour Technical Support Line, tell them that you need your Domain Name hosted on your new site, and they will have it up and running for you within 2 business days.

This makes it much faster and much easier than doing it through two different companies, saving you time and frustration!

Note: I would Not Purchase The Smallest Hosting Package They Have, But Any Of The Others Should Be Fine!
