Internet Marketing Keyword Research to Find a Business Niche

Conducting proper “Keyword Research” for the “Niche Related Keywords” you’re interested in building an Internet Marketing Business for, can save you a lot of time and money. Let’s first discuss narrowing down your Niche market!

If you’ve already downloaded the “Good Keyword Checker Software” we discussed earlier, and if you have your product list then you’re ready to go!

Find Your Niche Market

Internet Marketing Professionals spend literally 100’s of hours researching keywords before determining  which ones are viable to move forward with. To be a successful Internet Marketer you’ll need to make sure you’re getting ready to move forward in a niche that has the potential to be profitable.

The best way to do this is by doing some “Keyword Research” on all of the things you wrote down on your product list. You’ll need to pair this down into two categories, Vague, and specific. Start with the vague category first.

How To Do Keyword Research

To research a Keyword or Keyword Phrase, you will need to open your “Good Keyword Checker Software”, and if possible a Spread Sheet, like Excel or something similar.

First click on the Tab in the center of the toolbar called, “Google KWT”. Once you’ve done that it will load the Keyword Checker in your Web Browser Window. Right in the middle of your screen you’ll now see an area that says, “Enter one keyword or phrase per line”, here you will type in your keywords one at a time.

Next you’ll need to find the “Type the characters you see in the picture below.” message, and do as it requests. After that just click the Get Keywords Button.

Posting Your Results

Copy the keywords into your spreadsheet, along with the numbers listed for searches last month for each keyword. The rest of the numbers aren’t necessary for now. You need to do this with all of the keywords you have written down on your list.
