In Internet Marketing, Keyword Research can either make you a fortune or it can help you waste your money and your time. As an Internet Marketer conducting proper Keyword Research is the sort of thing that can turn a failing Internet Business around.

What is Keyword Research

Keyword Research is where you select certain keywords that are related to your niche, and then check these keywords to see how many times that keyword or search phrase has been searched for, on a particular Search Engine, or combination of Search Engines.

I know that sounds like a lot doesn’t it. It’s not really. There are many types of free and paid keyword tools available by doing any search for free keyword tool. Most are very easy to use and understand.

As an Internet Marketer you’ll need to do extensive keyword research for several separate  things.

  • Finding a Niche Market to Work In
  •  Choosing a Good Domain Name
  • Deciding which Keywords to Target When Setting Up Your Site
  • Which Keywords to use for Pay Per Click Advertising
  • Which keywords to use for AdWords Advertising

The Importance of Keyword Research

This may seem like a daunting chore at times, but it really will make a tremendous difference in the site that you get to your site. The types of visitors that are finding it, and the overall sales and profits generated from a Website.
